My Three Favorite Remote Controlled Things
3) Remote control planes. You haven’t truly lived until you’ve staked your claim to a field and let your rc plane fly with wild, wonderful abandon. If you want to experience the thrill of flight without taking expensive piloting classes or risking your life in the sky a remote control plane is the way to go. The beauty of remote control plane flying is the great selection of custom parts and difference style planes you can choose from. Some people love the old-school World War II planes and some people like to custom build their own Boeing jets or Stealth fighters. The remote control plane market is huge and even if you are new to the hobby there are lots of great sites and people out there that will help you out.
2) Bedroom light control. So there are you are, lying in bed reading a book or watching some TV with the lights on. You’re about to fall asleep, your eyes are heavy and that light switch is way over on the other side of the room. What do you do? Well, if you’re smart and truly lazy, you will have a bedroom light control like me. 1) Television remote control. You knew this was coming, right? Seriously, how did people ever live without remote controls for their television sets? I actually remember this really old TV my parents had when I was a kid and it had this giant knob you had to turn to change the channel and it made this really loud cranking noise like I was pulling teeth to change the channel. Today the television remote control is a must accessory for every household. Some televisions today don’t even function without the remote control. You won’t even be able to reach the television menus or access custom features without the remote control. One of the great, almost cliché, American disasters is the loss of the home television remote. Sometimes it’s behind the couch, sometimes it’s under the cushions, and more often than not, you probably took it with you to the bathroom during halftime.

Where can i get an affordable remote control light switch?
My bedroom light switch is outside of my room...thanks to renovations...and I was wondering if anybody knew of a type of remote control light switch that I can use from inside my room to control the lights...the landlord said an electirician is not an option btw. Any suggestions? websites would be great
If you get one of these switches and its still out side your room, chances are you will still have to get up to turn the light on/off. the signal probably wont be able to go to the otherside of the wall.. i know that the remote controll lightswitch i have (bought from homebase for maybe £15) wont work if i use the remote on the otherside of the wall.
